With growing demand for consumer
electronics, and accessories manufacturers are coming out with new products
every now and then. The manufacturers need to keep with the rising consumer
needs and to keep with the competition. If a leading brand launches a new
product; all major brands in the segment need to come out with a competitive
product.
To survive in a market with cut-throat
competition is difficult for the manufacturer and the consumer. The
manufacturer has to consistently be innovative, strive to add value to its
product not compromising on quality; and the consumer has to consistently look
for buys which are best suited for its needs and pocket. Electronics is a major
segment in the consumer industry, which faces immense competition and challenge.
While big players are always there in
the market, which are sold by name the small players have to strive to make a
place. The small players may be able to offer the same quality product, with a
similar guarantee, warranty but the big players have the advantage of the name
associated with it. The established brand in each segment of the consumer
industry also had to do intense marketing, promotions giving a high quality
before becoming established.
With the rising electronics industry;
laptops, cell phones, video games, and other electronic devices have become a
child’s play. The generation Z children, as they are called are born with the
sense to comprehend the use of these gadgets at a very young age. They are born
with the knack to understand the functionality of these devices. Another
consumer use product in electronics which has created a revolution is
electronic devices for music.
Music has become an inevitable part of
today’s consumer, more of the teenagers and young adults. For some of them;
they eat, breathe, and sleep music. For some people, the day stats with music
and ends with music, not to miss all activity during the day has music in the
background. This has been possible with small electronic devices, which can
store large amount of data/ music in electronic format and can be played when
desired. The headset/headphones attached to the device, which are as sleek
gives the pleasure of listening to music anytime, anywhere.
But for a public music experience, to
play and enjoy music or any other audio content with others use of speakers is
the way. The electronics market is flooded with speakers, both branded and
local to cater to a large number of consumer needs and pocket. The conventional
way of playing music for public listening was, attaching the player to a few
speakers around the desired area with cables for desired audio content. With
technology growing fast; cell phones having replaced land phones, and other
devices which use physical cables, network are passé.
The new age wireless speakers are
taking over the traditional speakers and may soon replace. The wireless
speakers work on the same principle as traditional speakers, except sound is
transmitted over radio waves rather than audio cables. The system has a loud
speaker which has a transmitter RF and receiver RF. The transmitter with the
aid of RCA plug is connected to the audio output of devices such as hi-fi
equipment, MP3 player or any other device. The receiver is placed at the
location, where the listener wants the desired music. This gives the
convenience of moving speakers, without the need of cables. The receiver unit
usually has an amplifier to boost the audio signal to the loud speaker, which
is powered either by batteries or by an AC outlet.
